High School Info
Students from Rock Lake move on to three separate high schools, Lyman, Lake Mary, and Lake Brantley. Each of these schools have awesome band programs. One of the most amazing things about Seminole County is the camaraderie and spirit of cooperation between band directors at the high school and middle school level. It is not uncommon to see the directors of each of the feeder high schools at our concerts or teaching our children as guest clinicians. Frequently asked question: Can a student be in the magnet program and participate with band program?
Answer: YES!!!!! It has never kept a student out of band, but has occasionally put them on a higher or lower level than is appropriate.
